OneGrill,LLC files patent application for PERFORMER basket.

Today after 2 years of product development and testing we are proud to announce another OneGrill innovation. The revolutionary PERFORMER rotisserie basket system.

This all 304 stainless steel basket has a cradle style main body with a huge difference. Adjustable racks allow you to balance the load by allowing you to insert them into the cage at various levels. Instead of the fixed floor, you now have the ability to control the depth of the basket. Additionally this basket does not use clamps that require screws on round rods that can come lose during the cooking process. The rack lock positively into notches without tools.

The rack/lid system now adds a level of flexibility to this basket that is unparalleled. With 20 adjustment settings all of which are accomplished without tools, you can cook almost anything that will fit. Whole chickens are easy to do without the need to prepare them on a spit. Just drop them in and put on a rack/lid.

Very thin meats and vegetable cuts are no problem. The racks can be adjusted to as little as 1/4" spacing. You can now cook an entire meal like never before. Various foods can be accomodated in sections and you can control how they are contained.

The basket can operate in a mixed mode configuration with the addition of a curved set of lids which will be available in the spring/summer time frame of 2013. Mixed mode allows you to cook with some food constrained on racks and have another area which provides tumble action. Of course you can turn the entire basket into tumble configuration if needed.

A configurator on the OneGrill site will help you build the correct size for your grill. The system uses a Drive Rod and Support Rod which can be selected in 1" increments to design the system for your specific grill. Should you change grills, you can order an inexpensive rod to resize.

Units will be available only from the OneGrill site and select dealers initially. Initial orders will be shipped on 2/11/13. The first available model is 8" diameter by 14" long.

We had submitted our application to be considered in early April. After review of our suppliers, customers and varoius business metrics we were accredited. OneGrill,LLC improves systems integration.

In January of 2012 OneGrill completed the installation and integration of an entirely new computer and software system. The new system completely integrates all web based operations and sales outlets such as Ebay and Amazon as well as our main site OneGrill.com. All sales, inventory and shipping functions are managed through a software "HUB" and the results are ultimately posted to our Quickbooks accounting software. This gives us the ability to see every order from any outlet in one place. All shipping for those orders is managed in the same screen. Ship status and tracking information is immediately available and uploaded to the proper site. All financial information relating to the sales is automatically posted to the accounting software. Inventory for the company is managed in one database and pushed out to the sales outlets automatically. No more false inventory stock levels.

We still maintain our double redundant order notification system which makes sure that no order is missed. This assures our customers that their order will be processed in a timely manner and quickly delivered.

This system is scalable to many hundreds of times our current level of operation.

Coming in March will be the ability to custom congfigure your own rotisserie set. This will allow combinations which are not always available in a particular kit. For example it was not possible to have stainless brackets with your set instead of chrome. You can buy just the rod and forks with any motor and no brackets if you like.

For international customers you can select the 220 volt motors and plugs for your country.

Another nice feature is that if you want to add accessories like baskets, they will be available at a discount when purchased in the configurator.

This feature is not recommended to be used by dealers and OEM's at this time due to price structures.

As many of you know we look at things differently here at OneGrill. We see things for what they are and we are usually never really satisfied with how most products are designed.

For many years now we have offered a coupe of basket selections and they have been pretty well received. There are however a few areas where we often get comments or requests and on top of that we have never really loved the design or size for example.

What is wrong with baskets that are currently on the market today?

We have been experimenting over the last 2 years with some different designs. The basket that I thought was one of the most promising was the old EZ-QUE design. It however, had some serious issues such as the over complicated clamping system which would many times, leave go and drop the food. The other thing that was equally unappealing was that if you did not have a motor that rotated in the proper direction, the rods would unscrew and the whole thing would fall. It was also expensive to produce. Other issues such as balancing and flexibility were still apparent.

About 5 months ago we finally came up with the solution to the clamping problem we were trying to solve. The solution was staring us right in the face and we did not see it for a long time. When we finally realized the solution, it then made the other issues disappear one by one.

The result?

The absolute most incredibly versitile and practical basket you will ever see!

We solved problems that many users had not really thought of. We now have a system that can cook incredible amounts of food and food variety. You can do complete meals. It allows you to cook virtually anything regardless of size and shape, that will fit inside and even mix them together.

We are still testing the baskets and will begin market evaluations in mid October 2011. The testing is taking quite a while because of the flexibility of the design. We hope to have the small version available for sale late fall. The patent work is in progress currently as well.
